With a distinguished history in diamonds, jewellery, and real estate trading, followed by successful hospitality ventures from 2010, the family entered the specialty coffee and spice trade in 2015. Based in Chennai, India, OCN specializes in trading premium coffee alongside sought-after spices, while also providing coffee machines and professional consultancy services. OCN's commitment to quality has earned recognition from discerning Italian roasters and numerous awards for excellence.

OCN sources its premium coffee and spices from renowned estates in the Coorg region of India, including Old Kent, Hallery, Sandalkad, and Sandalwood, to name a few. With access to more than 2,000 acres, these estates maintain a longstanding tradition of quality cultivation that spans decades. The carefully selected Arabica and Robusta beans are intercropped with pepper, cardamom, and other spices, growing under a two-tier canopy system. This shade-grown, bird-friendly method ensures proper care for the fragile ecosystem of the Western Ghats while lending unique and complex notes to both the coffee and spices. These estates have been preserved for more than a century and a half by families who have established legacies built on trust and quality.
